CasinoCountDown
A timed test project for a Head of Product interview: redesign the CasinoCountDown affiliate website in about two days, showing the entire UX process — from empathise to high-fidelity screens.
01 The challenge
Affiliate sites live or die on one conversion: visitor → registered player at a partner casino. The existing site buried that path under faded colours, inconsistent type and a messy mobile version — helpful data, hostile presentation.
02 The approach
The full process, compressed: a lightweight empathise phase and persona, pain-points defined on the wall, a solution statement — easy & clear, access to clear data, fun and friendly — then high-fidelity mobile and desktop screens rebuilt around the conversion path.
03 The process
Empathise
Walked the site as a visitor; built the persona the data pointed to.
Define
Pain-points pinned: no structure, faded palette, chaotic type, messy mobile.
Ideate
Solution statement — easy & clear + clear data + friendly = easy conversion.
Prototype
High-fidelity mobile-first screens, then the desktop system.
